In a recent study into Trade Union websites, Digital Consultant Simon Parry at Infobo investigated the responsiveness of sites to adjust to smaller devices.

In light of a report  published by Adobe in March 2013 which that websites were getting  8% of traffic from tablet users and another 7% visiting sites through their smart phones,  Simon tested 50 Trade Union websites on a widescreen monitor, tablet and smartphone to see how well the sites automatically adjusted to the different screen sizes.

Included in this study was HeadRed designed Nationwide Group Staff Union which was one of only 3 websites to get the top rating of ‘Very Good’ for the websites performance.

First developed in 2008 the NGSU website was updated to support large amounts of content online for union members, whilst maintaining function and site quality across major devices.

Here at HeadRed we are extremely pleased to see that one of our clients websites has been recognised for being functional and accessible to it’s visitors.
