Leamington Spa Town Council

About them

Royal Leamington Spa Town Council was established in April 2002 and was elected for the first time at the elections in May 2003. In that time the Town Council has rapidly established itself as a representative body for the people of Leamington and an important partner in the delivery of services to the Community.

It is the first tier of local authority within the Town and works in partnership with the key service providers including – Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Police Authority and Warwick District Council – to enhance the provision and quality of public services.

About them

Our work with Royal Leamington Spa Town Council included the design and development of a new website. The site contains a plethora of content, including latest news and events, a calendar of meetings, downloadable annual reports and much more.

Furthermore, the site for Royal Leamington Spa Town Council was built using HeadRed's custom-built Content Management System (CMS), which provides them with a highly effective platform from which to inform and educate all of the council’s relevant stakeholders.

Every council is required to pay significant attention to disabled access around the town so why should their website be any different? Accessibility formed a large part of the website’s development and careful consideration was given to all known guidelines and ensuring they were followed. The finished site achieved AAA Bobby approval and W3C accreditation.
