June News Update
It’s been a busy month here at HeadRed towers. The sales department has expanded with the addition of Vesh Taylor-Dowson, our New Business Development Manager. Vesh and I will be working together to drive the HeadRed sales effort, with his remit being focused moreon the lead generation side of the business.
The past week also saw the release of the new must-have gadget – the Apple iPhone 3GS. Not wishing to waste any time, Danny our PHP developer rushed on down to the Carphone Warehouse and took order of one for his very own. With a faster processor, improved camera and in-built GPS compass, it’s certainly caught our interest. Expect to see one of two more iPhones appear in the office in the next few weeks!

Get Inspired

HeadRed have been appointed by local tennis coaching company, Inspire 2 Coach, to deliver a new website and overhaul their existing online presence.
Inspire 2 Coach runs a wide range of tennis programs for all ages and abilities at a family of clubs in Warwickshire and Worcestershire. They also offer packages of coaching courses, workshops and mentoring for all levels of coaches and teachers.
Our work will include the creation of a new brand identity for Inspire 2 Coach. This will form the basis of the website’s overall look-and-feel with the aim of enticing and engaging visitors.
The site itself will provide a platform for budding Andy Murrays of the future to find coaching courses local to them and book a place online. Similarly, tennis coaches and teachers will have access to a wealth of information and details of how they can enroll on programs of their own.
The new site is currently under development and we are working towards a summer launch.
More details to follow.

HeadRed commissioned to revamp Godiva Festival website

CV One has recently commissioned HeadRed to revamp their website for the Godiva Festival – the biggest free family festival in Coventry!
For what is an incredibly vibrant and exciting festival, their existing website does not paint a particularly good picture. Our task is to transform the site into an engaging, innovative and visually striking portal for both the festival and the local community.
A key part of the redevelopment will be the effective use of web 2.0 technologies in order to create and retain an active online community. The new site will feature a Godiva Blog, a user forum, a photo-sharing image gallery, podcasts, video and more.
When it is launched the site will be able to rub shoulders with the top dogs of the UK festival scene and be a benchmark website that all will aspire to.
The festival itself attracts over 75,000 visitors each year and has featured heavyweight bands including The Enemy, Kasabian and The Fratellis. If you’d be interested in becoming a sponsor for the event then please contact Dave Wright at CV One for further information.

Woodfields in for the long haul

HeadRed have shaken hands with local haulers, Woodfields, to redevelop their e-commerce driven website.
Woodfields have over 70 years experience in the haulage industry, supplying their customers with landscaping products, topsoil and waste recycling services. Their website acts as the online face for the company and needs to provide Woodfields with a quick and easy portal for selling their products.
Our redevelopment will focus on the customer’s experience and ensuring their path around the site and their route to purchase is as streamlined as possible.
