New Website – PIGS Golf Society

The Personal Injury Golf Society, or PIGS for short, has been set up by Compass Cost Consultants for personal injury solicitors to get together and play some of the finest golf courses in the UK and Ireland.
We designed and built their new website, www.pigsgolfsociety.co.uk, to provide members with an online portal where they can access details of forthcoming events, view photos from events past, and check out the PIGS leaderboard to see who’s hot and who’s not!

New Website – Learning Academy

The Learning and Development Academy is a collaborative project formed by a number of prominent, local, public sector organisations. They offer a range of different staff training courses with the aim of developing the skills people use at work and improving public sector service levels as a result.
Their website needed to appeal to public sector workers and provide them with a quick and easy window to all of the courses available. Our work included the design and build of the new Academy website with a comprehensive course database and booking facility. Users can effortlessly browse their way through all of the site’s many courses, find out details of those that interest them and even book online.
The Academy can manage all bookings taken through the site via a simple, but detailed admin system that we built specifically for them. This allows them to track bookings, send reminders and gather valuable post-course feedback.
Karen Egan, Project Manager for The Academy, had this to say of our work:
“HeadRed were extremely easy to work with. It was immediately apparent that they knew their stuff and were able to offer pragmatic solutions to our unique requirements. Their response to questions, queries (and often my lack of IT skills!) was always met with a swift, positive and helpful response, which has enabled us to deliver a website that meets our needs and that we are extremely proud of. I would not hesitate to work with HeadRed again.”

New Website – Wilkinson Wardrobes

Family retailer, Wilkinson, commissioned us to design and develop a new website to sell their range of bespoke wardrobes and room dividers. The Wilkinson brand spans back to the 1930s and has developed an incredible reputation for high quality products at fantastic prices. To ensure that the new site communicates the same values it was imperative that our design followed their company brand guidelines.
The end result is a site that stays true to the company’s strong traditions and history, whilst at the same time providing an effective platform for selling the new Wilkinson wardrobe range. Customers buying through the site are able to tailor their purchase to their exact requirements using our highly acclaimed Wardrobe Configurator, providing them with a fully personalised shopping experience.

New design for NGSU

Long-term HeadRed client, the Nationwide Group Staff Union (NGSU), have recently undergone a website makeover. Their old design served them well for over 2 years, but it was felt the time was right for a change.
Following an involved consultation process the new NGSU design was produced. Our focus was on creating a look-and-feel that fully reflects the nature and values of the union, whilst at the same time providing visitors with the most usable route to information they require.
The finished design is very clean and professional with splashes of colour throughout providing consistency with the NGSU’s corporate brand. The site’s layout has also been improved with feature boxes on the homepage and a much more logical navigation structure making it a lot easier for users to find their way around. What’s more, we also added in a new NGSU blog so now you’re never too far away the latest news and views on the world of working practices!
