Facebook – The Movie
Timberlake, along with fellow actors Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield, have been cast as the Zuckerberg/Parker/Saverin trio, according to a report in Variety.
For those who haven’t been keeping track, “The Social Network” is an adaptation of Ben Mezrich’s book, “The Accidental Billionaires,” which chronicles the birth of social networking portal Facebook and its founders. The story is apparently a fairly sordid one – Zuckerberg and Saverin masterminded this revolutionary web destination for keeping in touch with people and later parted as enemies.
The casting of Timberlake is a particularly interesting one. His acting career to date has been limited at best with a voice-only part in Dreamworks produced, Shrek the Third, his biggest hit so far.
The HeadRed team will be keeping our eyes on this one with interest.
